This is a lovely Turquoise Amethyst Pendant Necklace from Taxco Mexico.
I found it on a recent trip there.
Taxco is a famous city in Mexico for its fine silver artistry. In the 1500's Taxco became a silver mining town when silver loads were found
and is has remained a silver city in one form or another ever since.
The stones are natural stones. These days much of the natural Turquoise is stabilized and although I was told the was not by the vendor that sold it to me,
sometimes the don't know for sure. The Turquoise is natural but personally I don't know if it has been stabilized or not.
