This is a gorgeous fine silver bangle bracelet from Thailand. I was thrilled to find this design on my recent trip to Chang Mai knowing someone would love to have it.
It was made by the hill tribe people of northern Thailand. The beads and clasp ends and clasp are close to pure silver with a purity nearly 100 percent ( between 97 and 99.9 % ) far higher than standard 925 sterling. The bracelet consists of rugged interwoven cotton fiber material and over 70 hill tribe beads. I was told that the labor involved in making the bracelet took a long time and I believe it.
